News: SnK Season 3 Japanese DVD/Blu-Ray Volume 2 (7 Volumes Total)

WIT Studio has revealed the cover visual for the first DVD/Blu-Ray volume of SnK Season 3, featuring Erwin!

This second volume will contain episodes 4-6 of season 3, making for a runtime of 72 minutes. The first edition will also include:

  • Case with illustrated design by Asano Kyoji

Hi, I’ve been looking through your Mononoke posts and I was hoping I could ask a question. (I love your Fox design btw! I’m thinking about writing my own story about Kitsune!Kusuriuri, but I’m scared) But anyways, The Medicine Seller says he needs Shape, Truth and Reason in order to draw the sword; I know what the shape is, but what exactly is the Mononoke’s Truth and Reason?

To my understanding there’s actually multiple ways you can translate katachi / makoto / kotowari (e.g. I’ve also seen kotowari translated as “regret” rather than “reason”) and I think that’s a minutiae of the Japanese language and its implications that I don’t know enough to even really guess at.

Just looking at the narrative, my two cents on what it all means is…
