Age gap Discours is entering the REAL WORLD and I hate it. Today I got into an argument with other people about whether or not teens (actual teens) could be pedophiles. They argued that any teen of any age was pedophile if they’d EVER had sexual thoughts about a younger child. I had to go physically get the DSM5 and show where it SPECIFICALLY says there must be an age gap of >5 years and that the teen must be at least sixteen to be diagnosed. This Discourse and lack of nuance is HARMFUL. 1/2
